Promising Chicken Wings defensive midfielder Zulharisan bin Mohamad was picked up by S-League club Joker 9 for the bargain sum of S$58 000, with German Division Nine side Continentale Catenaccio providing some competition. Faced with a choice between the two, it was a no-brainer for Zulharisan, who opted for Aljunied Bridge.
"It would be wonderful to don the full blue of Joker 9." said the 18 year-old Zulharisan, who accepted the possibility of being converted to a defender. "My coaches have all commented that I was a late bloomer, so landing this plum move comes as a nice surprise."
