Rancher Rabbits trainee winger Rafiq Samad Khairul Musa won a free transfer to Turkish VI.529 newbies CAGOVERA today, becoming part of head coach Hasan Terlan's first recruiting class of seven players. The 17 year-old had been brought to the academy by Yip De Da, who had been impresed by his rough-and-ready style.
Truth be told, Rafiq had not exactly stood out from amongst his peers at the Rabbits, being a steady if not particularly outstanding presence out wide. To his mates, however, it was obvious why he had been picked out by Terlan. "They have the same beard!"
