Dzsordzsone Take Lim
Promising Farmer Bunnies centreback Lim Jing Boon was signed for S$120000 by Hungarian Division Five side Dzsordzsone FC, as the five-time sixth division champions attempt to take the next step up.
Lim was delighted to become part of Adam Pytlarczyk's new-age defence, and is well aware of the competition that he will face, including from the likes of much-scouted Faroe Island teenager Gunnolvur Dam Jacobsen.
"I don't think I can improve that much without training with better players, as I was able to do a few times with the senior side at Bunnies." he said. "Happily, Dzsordzsone too have men of that calibre, such as Martin Torbjärnsson and Luis Carlos Crespo."
Though it was good times all around for the Buns, considering their purchase of
Jon Benson and swirling rumours about possible national callups for some of their defenders in the not-too-distant future, it was an ending for 18 year-old former Rancher Rabbits graduate Lee Heng Tse, who declared an end to his search for a new club.
"It's a bit of a letdown to have it finish this way, but that's reality." Lee shrugged. "And anyway, I'm not exactly leaving, just that I'll be in the stands instead."
