Benny arrived with a reputation as a great header of the ball, something sorely lacking in Grilled's squad, but will probably be remembered at least in the beginning for coming down with food poisoning after overindulging himself in the local cuisine. Some fans questioned whether it was right to reuse Martinsson's old number so soon, but most admitted that it seemed right that it be worn again by a fellow Swede.

Benny didn't keep the number long anyway, as a bout of food poisoning followed by poor acclimatization and high wages led to him being sold on (at a paper profit) to Swedish side BK Brus after just two weeks and a single appearance.
