Formerly a league top scorer in his native Algeria and Portugal, the sense of a career not having gone quite right nevertheless stuck to Bentellis. A collapse in form had Spain's Rasteam F.C. eager to let him go, and the promise of support and silverware lured him to the Bunnies. He proved himself a useful attacking option, only for an ankle injury to force his retirement at 39; as something of a consolation, he became the first-ever member of the Buns' Hall of Fame.
