Will To Progress
Birds head coach
Tian Yonghang acknowledged his team's second-half comeback, but remained disappointed at the lackadaisical half before that. "A younger and faster team would not have given them those ins." he asserted. "I don't want the guys to get into the habit of making mistakes, then trying to compensate for them."
A win remained a win, though, and the Birds now sit atop the group, with Spanish II.3 entrants Recre Onuba also on three points after beating Red Star Club Myvatn 3-2. Onuba showed why they are currently on a ten-match unbeaten streak with their all-around excellence, even if they had to rely on a late Makis Likos brace to pull out the win.
Tian admitted that he would settle for a draw against Onuba next week. "They are a strong team in great form." he analyzed. "We will attack them hard, but a point would not be a bad result."
