Ducks Buy Bucks
Just-incorporated Swiss VI.787 club 1. FC Donald Duck recruited three Farmer Bunnies trainee defenders to their squad on free transfers this afternoon, with 17 year-olds Michael Pak, Mohd Zaharul Aiman Husain Khairul Akmal and Muhammad Abou Baraka getting a new lease of professional life in Europe.
All three have their specialties - Pak is a wingback with a penchant for bringing the ball up by himself, Zaharul a self-admitted basic do-everything guy who likes to take the odd free-kick, and Baraka a ball-playing sweeper who tries to pass out of the back. "Between them, they have it all covered." Rabbits scout Tong Han Kong, who had brought all of them into the fold, joked. "But really, it's great that they will be able to support each other in a foreign land."
The move came at an especially opportune time for Muhammad Abou Baraka, who admitted that he had been looking for a change in his life, after less-than-stellar N-Level results. "I thought it was the end of my dreams when I was rejected by Lions Junior, but they do come true after all." he smiled.
