Langenlois Torpedoing

The Birds returned to Austria for the first time in twenty-two seasons, but again failed to return triumphant as Division Six club Torpedo Langenlois exploded against them.
Due to a clash with the green-white-red kit of the hosts, Grilled turned out in their third strip of all white. That foreshadowed their surrender as greenhorn goalie-in-training
Lim Shun Jin let centreback Attila Weitzmann's unconvincing effort slip by him before two minutes had passed.
The rain made it a bit of a mudbath, but Langenlois were still clearly on top, with Grilled's
Sim Tong Ping all over the place, and on his bottom for much of this time. After Otto Kovacs and the German Jannes Reiher scored, Sim dived in with an ill-advised challenge on Romanian lad Denis Scurtu, earning himself a yellow, and Denis some pain.
Langenlois' players were not too accustomed to their 3-4-3 system, but had sufficient understanding to compensate. The up-and-coming local winger Michael Redlingshofer showcased his athleticism, springing high to head home before adding another before half-time.
Shun Jin was at fault again as he let Jannes Reiher's eminently stoppable drive slither between his legs, but a couple of substitutions later, it was Grilled's
Chan Woon Jin who was the happiest of them all as he followed up his substitute appearance against Chemistry with a peach of a shot from Darong's cross, albeit helped by confused defending from Langenlois.
Of course, that had no bearing whatsoever on the outcome, as the home side ran out winners as Kovacs made a brace and Weitzmann, a hat-trick.
