The second day of the season-ending Supporter Week Trophy had Grilled Birds set out with a ten-goal bonanza, if split evenly with Czech V.65 runners-up FC Mansochy United. Neither side were tracking much if at all in this 2-5-3 mirror match, and while the Birds semmed like they had forestalled Mansochy's late rush through
Aw Keng Chuan's splendid left-sided rush to gain a two-goal lead in the 78th minute, the Czechs had John Vike and Preto Bustos claim a point as the Birds faded badly.
It was then
Gústav Thoroddsen all the way, with the Icelandic forward hardly satisfied with his lone 40th minute strike against Mansochy. German fifth divisioners 1. FC Tobiego became his latest victim, as he tore through them for a hat-trick by the 17th minute, with
Brian Reddy adding two in a crushing 6-1 victory. Swiss V.18 side AC Cap's were made of sterner stuff, and pulled off a minor 3-4 upset in a game that the Birds were shading, with
Chad Thach's 79th minute poach insufficient to outdo former Swiss youth international Quentin Hersberger's brace.
The Buns followed the win, draw, loss pattern too, first by playing out another nil-all, this against local H.A.L VI.578 club Team Kopi, based in Ang Mo Kio. In truth, Farmer Bunnies had a few chances to take this, most prominently when
Amaya Ravula went up by himself for a bullet header as
Ong Li Jing delivered from close to the right corner flag in the 79th minute, but that rattled the crossbar with Ed Ikeda getting nowhere close.
Another H.A.L side were up next, but Norway's Deathbydawnjubileum could only confirm why they were two divisions down, as their earnest but unpolished defensive efforts saw them leak two to the Buns.
Louis Lee started the game proper with a nice header from a
Vitaliy Efendiev corner delivery in the 41st, with
Ho Ah Kian swinging a free-kick past Lars Opsahl eleven minutes from time, having replaced Efendiev not long ago. Colombian IV.54 outfit REAL PAMPLONA F.C then beat the Buns through Juan Antonio Bañó's 12th minute grounder, and a lot of pressing.
International couldn't buy a win, unfortunately, as they were first held 2-2 by Swiss H.A.L VI.817 challengers I silenziatori.
Phua Li Kong volleyed well in the tenth minute, but
Chua Jun Long had several gimmies blocked by Finnish Number One Sami Pihkoluoma, before Quentin Eisler and Demian Karnebeek reversed the score by the 76th. Disaster loomed, but then Tommaso Portaro took Chua down from behind just inside the box, and
Leri Bezhanishvili guessed right to equalize.
There would be no such good fortune against Italian VI.579 club MOJITO C.F.C., who countered almost at will against International's unconvincing attacking combinations, with Andrea Pannullo and Alessandro Ghidoni good value for their goals. Belgian V.132 side Real de Marid operated similarly as International crafted ten shots on goal only to miss them all, with Marid only requiring František Blaho to knock a 33rd minute corner past
Darshana De Abrew for full points.
