Loyang Lays Najib
Loyang FC, the phoenix club of recent Singapore Sapphire Challenger Cup winners PS Toraja Muda, would prepare for their resurrection by recruiting youth midfielder Najib Azizi Khairul Aiman from the Bunnies. The fresh seventeen year-old is hardly the easiest to get along with, as his mates in the Rancher Rabbits would agree, but fiery combativeness is hardly the worst trait to have in a footballer.
With this, local head coach Loo Soon Su has made six signings thus far, the most expensive of which would be Luxembourg hopeful Thibault Mathevon - captured for just shy of six figures. The international flavour was only enhanced with recruits from Italy, Switzerland, Germany and the Netherlands all making the grade, but Buns scout Tong Han Kong backed his man to make it.
"They don't come much meaner than Najib with the ball - and trust me, that what you want in the centre." Tong boasted. "Nice guys might not lose, but they get more than their fair share of draws!"
