AES Good As Gone
Farmer Bunnies apprentice goalkeeper
AES Anchan would leave the club after making a single senior start in today's friendly against ASpire Eupen, in which he came close to maintaining a clean sheet. Either way, his Bunnies career is behind him for now, and he will be flying out to brand-new Croatian Division Five club HFC Luzitanija, as their maiden signing.
HFC Luzitanija boss Bartul Raspudić saw great things in store for the interestingly-named AES, who has steadfastedly refused to divulge any information behind his strange nomenclature. Swiss VII.315 side AC Gysi Bümpliz had reportedly come up with a package too, but the 17 year-old would eventually choose HFC Luzitanija for his free transfer.
It was a bittersweet outcome for the lifelong Bunnies fan, who however had been informed that he had no immediate future at the club. Mentor Tong Han Kong advised him not to dwell too much on a possible recall, and instead concentrate on doing the best for his new employers. "Anchan has all the tools to become a solid all-round goalie." Tong gauged. "It's down to him to work hard."
