Khoo Bye
Farmer Bunnies midfield trainee Khoo Leng Da arranged a free transfer to Danish VI.96 club AC Karla today, making him the fourth of Jarl Nilsen's first ever batch of signings alongside Aurėlijus Kaulavičius, Justo Dueñas and Wisis Major. The 17 year-old had shown promise as a trequartista with the Rancher Rabbits, but has been seen as better in a traditional central role.
Khoo's journey to this point had hardly been entirely smooth, and he would recount a painful rejection by The Sing Tigers' youth outfit. "They were the club that my family supported, and I thought I had been doing fine with their juniors, but apparently not enough."
Well, the Tigers' loss would be the Rabbits' gain, as scout Tong Han Kong recognized in Khoo a fierce determination to make the grade. "He may not stand out easily, but his game is very well-rounded for his age." Tong commented. "You won't find much that fazes him."
