Franciszek Götten

As his longtime comrades struggled in vain against Finland's Skonken International in the H.I. Cup, 22 year-old Polish midfielder Franciszek Jaźwiecki put the final touches on a move back to Europe - he will join German Division Six club SV Göttingen in a S$4.4 million deal.

Jaźwiecki had been hinting through his agent that he did not see his career developing as he thought it could have at Grilled International, with his not being featured in the last six competitive fixtures being the final straw. Tajit bin Mohd approved his transfer request, and Jaźwiecki quickly secured offers from Göttingen, as well as Portuguese Division Five side FC Torpedo Canidelo.

Tajit wished his former player the best. "Francis has been a total professional in his time here, but he just didn't figure that large in our plans for the team. He will be in good company at his new club, and with Józef Mej and Lucas Seebacher getting on in years, Francis should have a fair chance at establishing himself."
