Viljandi Gets Some Poon
Estonian Division Five leaders JK Lammas Viljandi came in for Grilled International's trainee playmaker Poon Leong today, an offer that was eagerly accepted by the 17 year-old. Six other youngsters were recruited by former Faroese youth international-turned-head coach Troels Müller, alongside Poon.
There should be opportunities for all, given how Viljandi have concurrently let five regulars go, for a combined total of over S$11 million. "This looks like a gutsy rebuilding plan." Busy Bees scout Adinath Pant remarked. "Judging from how competition in their league currently is, though, Viljandi can well afford it."
As for Poon, Pant envisages a bright future. "He has a good eye for the decisive pass, but more importantly, he also has the intangibles that will aid him in pulling the strings in midfield."
