Proyecto 6 - 1 Grilled

iv id="matchReport"> 5890 punters turned up at Follow me Stadium, and despite threatening clouds on the horizon, no rain came. Manolo Colasanto was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Paolo Vallebona and Walter Sensenau. They fielded: 谷村 (Tanimura) - Thomson, Lobão, 建 (Jian) - Iordăchescu, Borgarello, Ucher, Hardel, Aquiahuatl - Machoritsch, Arxibai.

Starters: Rykowski - van der Ban, bin Ahmad, Bakhtiar - Won, Parvathaneni, Xin Seng, Xin Lee, Tran - Wan Kang, Bellamoli.

As the teams spread out over the pitch, it became clear that they would both be using a 3-5-2 formation today. Proyecto seemed to prefer attacking in the middle, taking advantage of their magnificent level with that tactic. The home side put themselves ahead 1 - 0 after 9 minutes courtesy of a breakthrough from A. Lobão, who scored with a stunning volley following a cross from the right wing. The visitors almost came back with an equaliser 17 minutes into the match after a good combination through the middle, but when P. Bellamoli tried to finish the attack, he couldn't get enough power on the shot to seriously challenge the keeper. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Proyecto to 2 - 0 as E. Aquiahuatl finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. With 30 minutes played, Proyecto put themselves up 3 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to M. Ucher, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. Halftime score was 3 - 0. Proyecto claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 55 percent.

D. Thomson wanted to play on, but the Proyecto coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 46 minutes into the game by M. Chaparro. The visitors replied 50 minutes into the game, reducing the home side's lead to 3 - 1, as K. Parvathaneni dashed up the middle, easily lobbing the ball over the home team's keeper. The Proyecto players could smell victory in the air. P. Machoritsch wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for R. Boillet after 60 minutes. With 60 minutes played, the Grilled coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. 雄. 入江 (Irie) came on, R. bin Ahmad had to leave the fray. 73 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as R. Boillet broke through, making the score 4 - 1 for Proyecto. Proyecto were determined to attack in the middle, even their wing attacks ended up centrally. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. G. Borgarello squirmed through their central defence after 75 minutes, increasing the lead to 5 - 1. A great save by keeper K. Rykowski after 78 minutes kept the visitors in the game after X. Arxibai struck from the left with a real cannonball. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Proyecto's M. Chaparro increasing the lead to 6 - 1. The bench was restless, and with 85 minutes passed Grilled's coach gave L. Nguyen the opportunity the player had been hoping for. L. Wan Kang reluctantly left the field. The players were tired, but when the referee announced that there would be 1 minute of added time they, nonetheless, welcomed the extra opportunity to make an impact. The match ends 6 - 1. Proyecto enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 55 percent of possession.

Proyecto's best player was M. Ucher. However, E. Aquiahuatl made a disastrous appearance. The most dominating Grilled player was without a doubt M. Xin Seng. H. Bakhtiar on the other hand, had a terrible day.
