Arcturules were relying on their brilliant ability to counter-attack. A. Leong Kum gave Grilled the lead as he successfully challenged the guests' central defenders, then slotted the ball into the bottom corner, giving the keeper no chance. 1 - 0 Cheers filled the stadium as 田. 勇航 (Yonghang) broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 2 - 0 to Grilled. Morale on the visitors' bench was greatly improved when their player J. Kapecki reduced the lead to make it 2 - 1 after 32 minutes, following a pass from the right. With 35 minutes played, Grilled put themselves up 3 - 1 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to R. Isufi, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. 41 minutes in, Grilled's N. Muthyala received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Grilled's H. Prabhu left the field after 43 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was C. Aik Jia showed his experience after 44 minutes, as he expertly set himself up to take advantage of a rebound off the crossbar, but his shot was tipped harmlessly out of the way. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Grilled's L. Aik Jia increasing the lead to 5 - 1. It was 5 - 1 at the break. Grilled had most of the ball, with 58 percent of possession.

With 59 minutes played, M. Åhnbeck had a fantastic opportunity to reply but his shot from the middle flew harmlessly wide of the goal. G. Filippone left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 66 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. H. Trung Quá was the replacement. G. Dvorak almost put Grilled ahead another goal when he curled a free kick over the defensive wall and almost into the net, but the visitors' keeper got there just in time to knock it wide. 80 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as G. Dvorak broke through, making the score 6 - 1 for Grilled. In a rapid move 84 minutes into the match, R. Isufi of Grilled lost his man and passed the ball to the unmarked G. Dvorak who easily hit it home to make it 7 - 1. Luckily the ref didn't see him taunting the opposing fans in celebration - naughty boy! Arcturules's Q. Woon Qiang was shown a yellow card after 88 minutes for slicing down an opponent. After 89 minutes, Arcturules raised their score by one when J. Kapecki's dangerous low cross was cleverly tucked in at the near post by M. Åhnbeck. 7 - 2. The match ends 7 - 2. Possession in this half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 57 percent of the time.

C. Won performed admirably for Grilled. H. Trung Quá turned in a dismal performance, however. The most dominating Arcturules player was without a doubt M. Åhnbeck. However, Q. Woon Qiang made a disastrous appearance.
