Zamri Says Boo

Chicken Wings wingback Mohd Zamri Iqmal snagged his first pro contract just days before turning nineteen, with Argentine Division Six club Booquita recruiting him as part of their first batch of trainees. He joins Latvian Alberts Trapāns, Italian Nevio De Ciantis and Palestinian Rauf Bany Yaseen as trainees on free transfers.

Wings head scout Tham Beng Li was delighted for Mohd Zamri, whom he felt could have done much better had he concentrated on the game earlier. "He joined us relatively late, but also improved very quickly. With his strong fundamentals, he should be a pair of safe legs at the back."
