Ang Shifts To Shanghai

Seventeen year-old forward Ang Long Chee became the second Farmer Bunnies trainee to go abroad in as many days, as he was signed with a S$12000 consideration by Chinese Fourth Division side younglion_ever. younglion_ever, who have a subsidiary in Palestine, are shaking up their squad in a big way, with seven signings and ten transfers out just the day before, as Spanish head coach Josep Antoni Lambau fights for his career.

Although younglion_ever are not in the best of positions, currently propping up IV.54 after rising as high as the Second Division some five seasons ago, Ang was convinced that there was room there for him to develop, and mentor Ooi Long Ming concurred. "Ang's not just a keen striker, he's also a natural at free-kicks. For a restructuring side looking for versatility, he has to be an easy pick."

Ang certainly had his choice of destinations, with Barbarians FC (American Division Six), Parque Chas 51's (Argentina Division Six), Acemix (Turkish Division Six) and 1.FC Ballzauberer (Swiss Division Seven) also tendering solid offers, but the attraction of Shanghai's environment tipped it for younglion_ever.
