Au München

22 year-old Farmer Bunny Au Kong Seng moved on to German Seventh Division outfit FC CL 2001 Bayern München this morning, after not being able to break into the Bunnies first team. "We went over the options, and agreed that a transfer would be best for his career." head coach Sikong Darong revealed. "Au's been a real trooper, but there's frankly just too much competition in defence here."

Au will link up with Dutch forward Aram van Panhuis, late of Tehran-based club Poogle, as the two were unveiled together in a joint ceremony at the L' opera di Giuseppe Meazza. Sikong felt that the S$1.8 million München paid was slightly below the odds for a player of Au's calibre, but professed to be happy to close the deal without undue delay.

"We aren't really profit-maximizers here." Sikong said. "Au deserved a clean and speedy resolution after his service, and we are pleased that he has found a place where his abilities can be put to use."
