Xin Seng struck home from a rebound off the crossbar, following a shot from the right. Jaguars's G. Sophien was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 19 minutes. The corner kick from R. Isufi was powerfully met by the head of M. bin Mohd Kassim to make the score 1 - 2. With 25 minutes having been played, Jaguars scored to make it 2 - 2. A dribble down the left wing, followed by a shot which took a wicked bounce off a defender resulted in the keeper having no chance. Everyone thought it'd been an own goal, but A. Al-Ya'qooby was marked down as the scorer. 2 - 2 was the score after the first half. Grilled had most of the ball, with 53 percent of possession.

Grilled took the lead after 47 minutes making the score 2 - 3. M. bin Mohd Kassim placed the ball out of reach for the home side's keeper after a fine move, coming in from the left. The crowd was on its feet 51 minutes into the match, as Jaguars's F. Moldovan found himself unmarked in front of the goal after a dash up the left side. He calmly put away the 3 - 3 equaliser. L. Aik Jia of Grilled received a yellow card after 52 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. The home crowd was not impressed by the fancy moves of Grilled's 田. 勇航 (Yonghang) after 63 minutes. He converted a pass from the left for a goal, resulting in the visitors taking the 3 - 4 lead. After 71 minutes, Grilled's L. Aik Jia burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 3 - 5. After 76 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed M. bin Mohd Kassim to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 3 - 6. That made three goals for M. bin Mohd Kassim and he was marked down for the hat trick. Content with how the game was proceeding, the Grilled coach let R. bin Ahmad replace G. Filippone after 88 minutes. Grilled enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 57 percent of possession.

The most dominating Jaguars player was without a doubt Ö. Ermiş. However, E. Driutti made a disastrous appearance. Most important Grilled player was M. bin Mohd Kassim. On the other hand, R. Isufi's play was disheartening. The match ends 3 - 6.
