La Vidal For Chew
Farmer Bunnies youth winger Chew De Kuan was picked up for S$246 000 by Argentine Division Five club LA VIDAL AVAL today, as the fleet-footed left-legger found himself in high demand among professional suitors.
Other than LA VIDAL AVAL, Alpha Delta Kappa (Dutch Division Six), Big Power Virtual Football (Brazil Division Five) and Equinox Arad (Romanian Division Six) were also in the running, with ADK particularly persistent in their pursuit of Chew as a possible replacement for the transfer-listed Maxence Charon. Radovan Spurný's wholesale rebuilding project at LA VIDAL AVAL caught Chew's imagination, however, and he decided to make himself a part of it.
Rancher Rabbits scout Tong Han Kong felt that Chew had selected well. "It's rare to get a chance to start regularly in a reputable league at seventeen, and that's what Chew has managed to sign up for. He has all the basic tools for a traditional winger down pat, and if he develops smoothly, he can be a fine international-level star one day."
