Madaini to come in off the bench. R. Isufi's early cross saw the defenders caught out of position and the alert L. Wan Kang was able to pounce and roll the ball past the hapless goalkeeper to score for Grilled. 0 - 3. M. Xin Seng sailed high above the opponents as he headed in a corner kick from R. Isufi after 30 minutes of play, making the score 0 - 4. L. Wan Kang came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over A. Ghamrawy but overcooked it and hit the bar instead. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 4. Grilled had most of the ball, with 68 percent of possession.

Some fine movement on the left led to a Grilled goal after 67 minutes, making it 0 - 5. L. Wan Kang was noted down as the scorer. The Grilled players could smell victory in the air. P. Unfortunately for TFFC, A. Le was injured when the game became more physical, and he had to leave the field. W. Fu Lee replaced him. With A. Le no longer on the pitch, S. Muthyala of Grilled fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving.
