Always quick on his feet, Grilled's L. Aik Jia sped down the field after 50 minutes, but his pass to H. Bakhtiar was just a bit too far ahead for him to get a good shot off. Grilled needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 60 minutes L. Aik Jia made way for 田. 勇航 (Yonghang) . Grilled supporters cheered as good work down the right got the ball to R. Isufi who reduced the visitors' lead after 62 minutes to 1 - 2. R. van der Ban showed the skills that make him a real crowd pleaser as he, after 64 minutes, wove through the guests' entire central defence and put the 2 - 2 equaliser away. L. Wan Kang would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise. P. Bellamoli entered the game for Grilled as the match clock showed 75 minutes. xiuzhou's J. Portabella refused to leave the field after injuring his achilles tendon after 75 minutes. 89 minutes into the game, Grilled wanted to bring some new energy to their game. R. bin Ahmad gave Q. Madaini a quick hug as he left the field. Grilled had most of the ball, with 67 percent of possession.

Still tied after 90 minutes, the match continued into extra time. R. Isufi gave Grilled the lead as he successfully challenged the guests' central defenders, then slotted the ball into the bottom corner, giving the keeper no chance. 3 - 2 Grilled's best player was H.
