Deng In Demand
Young Farmer Bunnies defensive trainee Deng Leng Pin was the subject of interest from Hong Kong Division Four side Kamehameha99 as well as Turkish Division Six leaders F.C.MURATLI, and opted to be part of Argentine head coach Fabio Reynoso's revolution with the latter.
Deng joins an internationally-recruited cast of Mexican José Islas, American Boyd Owens, Dane Gustav Tang and Portuguese Simplício Pacheco Costa in signing contracts with F.C.MURATLI today, with Bunnies gaffer
Elias van Dal making it a point to wish him well.
"Deng was a solid citizen with the Rancher Rabbits, and had he come along a few seasons ago, he'd have a superb chance of continuing on with the seniors." van Dal said. "Unfortunately, we're building up one generation at a time, and he wouldn't have fit into our plans. Our loss is F.C.MURATLI's gain."
It was however the end of the road for Deng's junior teammates Bhanu George and Kong Yun De, who handed in their resignations after a fruitless search for a new employer. 18 year-old wing hopeful Andrew Arakawa remains on the brink, and will be pinning his footballing future on one final trial.
