Grilled had several good opportunities to take the lead, especially 24 minutes in when L. Aik Jia came up alone against D. Chaikalis who managed a block. Grilled took the lead 30 minutes into the game, making the score 0 - 1 after some elegant movement down the middle. C. Ying Lee was the scorer. W. Ping Shun increased Grilled's lead to 0 - 2 with a superb free kick strike that flew in just under the far top corner. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Grilled lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. R. Isufi of Grilled was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. 41 minutes into the match, G. Filippone came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide. It was 0 - 2 at the break. Grilled enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 67 percent of possession.

47 minutes into the game, Grilled worked the left side industriously creating several opportunities to add to their lead, but just couldn't apply the finishing touch. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave Z. Qeshany from Vinakrik a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 49 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! W. Shun An was the unlucky victim and couldn't continue the game, so Grilled's Z. Jing Wei had to come off the bench. Vinakrik's Z. Haddad was shown a yellow card after 53 minutes for slicing down an opponent. 田. 勇航 (Yonghang) was, after 58 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but the home side's keeper D. Chaikalis made the save. The home crowd cheered when, after 68 minutes, L. Aik Jia's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day. Grilled's C. Ying Lee made it through the home team's defence on the right hand side 75 minutes into the match. After rounding the keeper, he only had to place the ball in the unguarded goal when a defender slid in and cleared the ball off the line. The fierce heat made it important to save breath, and after a few swift runs L. Aik Jia found it hard to get back into position. M. bin Mohd Kassim received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 78 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 3. The Grilled fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. Grilled had most of the ball, with 68 percent of possession.

Vinakrik's top performer was clearly A. Vidal. However, L. Orsós made a disastrous appearance. Most important Grilled player was 田. 勇航 (Yonghang) . K. Rykowski turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 0 - 3.
