Ramli Finds Kaos
Cultured playmaker Mohammad Ramli Saliman earned himself a S$144 000 move to prestigious Italian club KaosLords, who are currently immersed in promoting to the third division; if all goes well, he may soon find himself rubbing shoulders with Lebanese national star Akram Naamani in the KaosLords frontline.
Saliman, or "
Sala" as his mates in the Chicken Wings like to call him, is known for his thoughtful approach to football, no doubt appreciated by his new side, as well as other admirers. Lazio-based Division Eight side Arancia Meccanicas were also very interested, but Saliman had eyes only for KaosLords' famous yellow jersey.
Outside of Italy, prominent sides such as Feco_Fc (Hungarian Division Six), miss andrea (Dutch Division Four), Fc Psycho Realm (Iraqi Division Three) and AS Mortal (French Division Four) were also in contact with Grilled for the player, a testament to how highly he was rated by international scouts.
Wings trainer Lim Hock Puay, who unearthed the raw gem, was not surprised. "He was simply a joy to watch, even without any formal training. Give him a few more years, and we may see something really special."
