Koh Makes Peace

17 year-old forward Koh Chu Meng snagged an international transfer to Danish Division Three leaders Makepeace United immediately upon becoming eligible, moreover starting in their friendly against Kfir's Puppies in the No. 35 jersey before even training with his new side.

Although that game ended in a defeat on penalty kicks after he hit one against the crossbar in the first half, Koh felt that it augured well for him. "It's a step up from the youth ranks, but I like to think I wasn't completely overwhelmed; also, kaijam's Manaf Aiman Husaini was also recruited, so I won't be the only Singaporean boy here."

On the other hand, Koh's former Chicken Wing teammates Tan Eng Yi, Zahid Rida Faizal and Mohd Rusydi Uthman have been cut from the reserve squad by mutual consent. Coach Luis Alcántara assessed that they were unlikely to improve much further, and they accepted his recommendation to seek other endeavours.
