Hugo Nicolas Ramírez was the appointed referee with assistance provided by

Grilled started off with a 2-5-3 lineup. Lineup: Noubaryan - Awyong, Bakhtiar - 福泉 (Fuquan) , bin Mohd Kassim, 勇航 (Yonghang) , Ying Lee, 力勇 (Liyong) - Bellamoli, Bacelar, Wan Kang.
Grilled tried to focus their attacks down the middle.

Choi How Tong contracted a slight foot injury, but didn't want to leave the game. After 26 minutes, Grilled's
Mohd Safri bin Mohd Kassim burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 3.
Djan Bacelar received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 32 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 4. The Grilled fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. The players of Grilled now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle.
Dennis Yu sailed high above the opponents as he headed in a corner kick from
Stanley Ping after 33 minutes of play, making the score 1 - 4. It was 1 - 4 at the break. Grilled had most of the ball, with 76 percent of possession.
With 50 minutes played, Grilled's well-worked indirect free kick caused havoc in the penalty area, and when the ball eventually fell to
Mohd Safri bin Mohd Kassim he gleefully slotted the ball home to make it 1 - 5.
田 (Tian) 勇航 (Yonghang) of Grilled took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 51 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 1 - 6. After 54 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for
Mohd Safri bin Mohd Kassim who increased Grilled's lead to 1 - 7. That was his third goal of the match - a hat trick for
Mohd Safri bin Mohd Kassim. One of many good crosses from

凌 (Ling) 福泉 (Fuquan) , who scored for Grilled. 1 - 8 After 60 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave
田 (Tian) 勇航 (Yonghang) a chance to increase the lead for Grilled, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 1 - 9. By then
田 (Tian) 勇航 (Yonghang) had scored three goals - a hat trick! The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave
Chow Ying Lee from Grilled a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 67 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! The visitors nearly scored again after 70 minutes, but a superb save by
Akhbar Ilham Burhanudin kept
Djan Bacelar's free kick out of the net.
Colby Awyong left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 88 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead.
Rashid bin Ahmad was the replacement. The coach of Grilled was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 88 minutes,

Djan Bacelar wanted to play on, but the Grilled coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 89 minutes into the game by
Lin An Chu. Grilled claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 80 percent.
Tan Long Huat performed admirably for Singapore. On the other hand,
Dennis Yu's play was disheartening. Grilled's top performer was clearly
Rashid bin Ahmad.
Hovaness Noubaryan turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 1 - 9.
