The home side worked their way through the middle and almost got one back when Chow Ying Lee tried to sneak the ball past the keeper. Bradley Imray was too alert for that! It was a hot and sunny day, and several players seemed worn out. Maybe this was why Pompeo Bellamoli found an unusual amount of space for his snappy footwork. eagles increased their lead after 43 minutes when Fahd Saleh Ajanji broke through on the right, upping the score to 1 - 4, much to the home crowd's dismay. The players of eagles now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 4.
