After this, you could see that the players of Grilled were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. After 39 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for Neo Da Teck who increased Grilled's lead to 0 - 5. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, Grilled's Neo Da Teck got himself booked. 0 - 5 was the score after the first half. Grilled claimed to be the more dominant force in the game, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 74 percent.

The coach of Grilled was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 46 minutes, Rauf Khairul Akmal came on for Neo Da Teck. A well placed corner kick from Mayur Gudivada was followed by Rauf Khairul Akmal's hard but accurate header. The nice combination marked a goal for Grilled, the score now 0 - 6. A thrilling play through the middle 59 minutes into the match gave Grilled's 唐 (Tang) 恒才 (Hengcai) a chance to increase the lead, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 7. Lai Lee Siong of Shadow received a yellow card after 60 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. Wong Chan Ho of Shadow was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. Grilled increased the lead to 0 - 8 as Mayur Gudivada scored from the penalty spot, putting the ball in near the top left corner. The game had been on for 74 minutes when Teo Yong Yau broke through on the right, upping the score for Grilled to 0 - 9, much to the home crowd's dismay. The home crowd cheered when, after 86 minutes, Wardi Azhari's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day. Grilled's Krishnan Adabala received a play slashing through the home side's central defence after 87 minutes, and chipped it past the keeper to score the 0 - 10 goal. The home crowd was not pleased with that one. As Hilal Bakhtiar">Hilal Bakhtiar was substituted 88 minutes into the game, he could take comfort in the fact that his team was in the lead. 林 (Lin) 俊桂 (Jungui) was the replacement. The Grilled captaincy was handed to Hovaness Noubaryan. Content with how the game was proceeding, the Grilled coach let Vukota Crkvenjakov replace Colby Awyong after 88 minutes.
