2 minutes into the game, Wolfes seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a poor level of organisation. Grilled took the lead, 1 - 0, after a penalty 7 minutes into the match. Mayur Gudivada scored from the penalty spot. After 8 minutes, Grilled's Liew Soon Ting fell awkwardly, but was determined to stay in the match. That's the spirit! After 27 minutes Grilled's Teo Yong Yau limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue. With 28 minutes played, the visitors could have scored the tying goal after Antonello Cartasegna came through the middle, but his kick went wide. Cheers filled the stadium as Wardi Azhari broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the 2 - 0 goal for Grilled. After this, you could see that the players of Grilled were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. 39 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as Li Boon Boon dashed through, knocking home 3 - 0 for Grilled. Wolfes's Sami Al-Sana'ani got himself booked for a foul. It was 3 - 0 at the break. The forty-five minutes were dominated by Grilled, with an impressive 57 percent possession of the ball.

The Wolfes players spent the break getting a rerun of the team's tactical organisation and regained a passable organisation when the game started again. Content with how the game was proceeding, the Grilled coach let 唐 (Tang) 恒才 (Hengcai) replace Liew Soon Ting after 46 minutes. 73 minutes into the game, Wolfes seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to passable. 76 minutes in, Wolfes appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only passable. The visitors' right side was dangerous today; Dorian Osek made the home team's keeper look foolish as he easily reduced the lead to make it 3 - 1 78 minutes into the match. The home side's Hung Wee Li came close to extending the lead 83 minutes into the game. Wolfes levelled the score after 86 minutes to make it 3 - 3, as Dorian Osek struck home after a fine midfield combination through the middle, leaving him completely unmarked. 88 minutes into the game, Grilled wanted to bring some new energy to their game. Hilal Bakhtiar">Hilal Bakhtiar gave Vukota Crkvenjakov a quick hug as he left the field. Vukota Crkvenjakov was handed the Grilled captain's armband. 88 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a Grilled substitution. Yvan Lefébure came on for Colby Awyong. 88 minutes had elapsed when a great chance for Grilled to take the lead after a good centering pass from the right found Neo Da Teck alone with the keeper, but he chipped it to the wrong side of the post. After 88 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as Wolfes found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to inadequate. Grilled held the ball, with a clear 60 percent of possession.

As neither team had managed to win, extra time was called. A review of the gameplan helped Wolfes get back to a solid organisation when the referee blew his whistle again. Grilled took the lead after 95 minutes, as a result of 唐 (Tang) 恒才 (Hengcai)'s awkward, but ultimately successful, shot from the right. 4 - 3. This put an end to extra time, making Grilled the winners.

唐 (Tang) 恒才 (Hengcai) performed admirably for Grilled. Hovaness Noubaryan on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating Wolfes player was without a doubt Manuel Indaneta. Antonello Cartasegna turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 4 - 3.
