Yaa Joha

One-club man Mohd Firdaus bin Yaacob became a two-club man today, as the 34 year-old striker took probably his last chance to expand his footballing horizons by transferring to Danish Division Seven club Johasta on a free.

Mohd Firdaus, whose effectiveness in front of goal has faded in recent years, but still remains an intelligent passer of the ball, an attribute that has helped him reinvent himself at wingback, scored in his last two competitive appearances for the club, both in the Cup, last season. He has further notched up 31 goals in friendlies.

"Sixteen seasons have gone by in a blink, and the time has come to make way for new blood, like I myself was." Mohd Firdaus said in his parting address. "It was always a pleasure to play here."
