BBrookies 6 - 0 Grilled

irly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 48003 to King's Stadium. Lukas Götschl was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Jakob Espersen and Dejan Renevey. BBrookies decided to use a 3-5-2 set up. The following players took the field: Min How - Kuisma, Parada, de Deus - Heinze, Kumar, MacNayer, Chao Aik, Illner - Andrade, bin Mustaffa.

Grilled tactics involved an interesting 3-4-3 combination. Starters: Dias Paes - Behr, Lik-Tsun, Árva - Penati, Branbilla, MacKinnon, Han Kok - Rotteveel, bin Mohd Kassim, Bögengang.

Grilled tried to focus their attacks down the middle. 2 minutes into the match, Grilled nearly took the lead, as Zoltán Árva broke through on the right. Hung Min How made the save, however. BBrookies's Henryk Heinze tried to break through in the middle repeatedly, but couldn't get past the visitors' defenders. 23 minutes into the game, Maikel Rotteveel had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came Ivaylo Mirchev. BBrookies's Waldick de Deus got himself booked for a foul. BBrookies took the lead 26 minutes in, as Carlos Manuel Andrade broke through on the left and put the 1 - 0 shot just beyond the reach of the outstretched keeper. 封 (Feng) 达荣 (Darong) was called on to replace Grilled's Ciro Penati after 32 minutes following a nasty collision. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 0. BBrookies enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 61 percent of possession.

After a short break in the 54 minute, BBrookies seemed to change their tactical approach a bit. The BBrookies coach was visibly pleased with the score so far, but still ordered a few tactical changes 62 minutes into the game. 66 minutes into the match Carlos Manuel Andrade put BBrookies ahead 2 - 0 with a truly marvelous free kick. BBrookies added another goal to their lead as Kwek Chao Aik struck home the 3 - 0 goal after an attack from the left set him up unmarked in front of the keeper. The structure of the game started to change as BBrookies decided to pull back and meet their opponents in their own half. BBrookies's Mohd Nafuzi bin Mustaffa proved that he's been around on a football pitch before, when he took advantage of a few moments of confusion in the opposition's defensive line and elegantly scored for 4 - 0. Things were deteriorating for the away team as BBrookies scored another to make it 5 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for Ahijit Kumar after 84 minutes. Many in the crowd felt the referee was being too lenient when he only showed BBrookies's Kwek Chao Aik a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 85 minutes into the game. BBrookies managed to extend their lead to 6 - 0 when Henryk Heinze cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. BBrookies claimed to be the more dominant force in the game, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 65 percent.

Most important BBrookies player was Carlos Manuel Andrade. On the other hand, Onni Kuisma's play was disheartening. Grilled's best player was Valdir Dias Paes. Han Lik-Tsun on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 6 - 0.
