18 year-old winger Feng Darong agreed professional terms with Grilled, after a good two seasons in the Chicken Wings. The news was met with indifference by the majority of Grilled fans, who rated the youngster as an average talent.

"It's true that Feng is not a wonderkid, but he works hard and slots in easily." Grilled coach Marcus Liehner said in his defence. "I plan on testing him at fullback in a few friendlies to see how that goes, since we are short of quality attacking fullbacks at the moment."
