Versatile Norwegian midfielder Allan Ødegaard was handed a $1.2 million move to Brazilian Division Five club Set-Fire after a sit-down meeting with the coach revealed to him that he was unlikely to feature prominently in Grilled's future plans.

"Ødegaard is everything most managers could hope for," Luis Alcántara said, "but the problem we have here is that we cannot wait for him to blossom. That's always the way it has been at the top. It's not really sink or swim for youngsters in the S-League, it's more of 'walk on water or walk out'. It sounds harsh, but that's the reality."
