Grilled agreed a S$600 000 fee with local Division Five club IvanTT2 for midfielder/forward Qiu Swee Pheng, upping a bid of half a million dollars by Indian Division Three Fire N Ice. Qiu understood that he was getting too old to remain as a promising youth, and the arrival of Mirchev and Fjällbratt further limits his opportunities for exposure.

His former youth coach felt that Qiu would excel in the lower leagues. "He knocked in seven goals in the eleven competitive matches he played for Grilled, most of them on the wings." Tommy Siok said. "Qiu may not cut it in the S-League just yet, but IvanTT2 have got a star in the making who can fill in at just about any attacking position."
