Grilled 2 - 1 Razer

scorching day at The Cooking Pot, where 90583 spectators were in place for today's match. Amran Pasha was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Peter Rocha and Ádám Lisztes. Grilled had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. Lineup: Harlow - Falkbo, Bona, Alcántara - Paullin, Rottman, Kek-Tjiang, Siu-Yue, van Liere - Langeland, Martinsson.

Razer had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. Lineup: Jiao-Long - Dahl, bin Sahat, Patel - Thanh-long, Chao Han, Wojnar, Shen, Mun-Nee - Willard, Leinonen.

The referee showed Grilled's Lorenz Paullin the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Grilled were very close to putting themselves one up after 16 minutes as Jan Langeland got through on the left, but failing in concentration, he shot the ball wide. Some beautiful plays on the left side of the field resulted in a goal after 17 minutes by Ola Martinsson for Grilled, putting them ahead 1 - 0. After 31 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by Au-Yong Siu-Yue might have resulted in another goal for Grilled. However, Mak Jiao-Long made a spectacular save. Razer had to make a substitution after 35 minutes. Heikki Leinonen limped off the field and was replaced by Tse Hyun-Shik. 1 - 0 was the halftime score. Grilled claimed to be the more dominant force in the game, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 61 percent.

A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased Grilled's lead to 2 - 0 as Shen Kek-Tjiang finished it off competently, firing from an acute angle. The structure of the game started to change as Grilled decided to pull back and meet their opponents in their own half. It wasn't a good day at all for Peter Patel. His powerful style of play just didn't fit the bill on this warm day. Jörgen Falkbo should probably have put his team up another goal after 74 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by Mak Jiao-Long kept the visitors in the game. The game was close to savage at times, and Grilled's Lorenz Paullin received a second yellow card after 77 minutes, his ticket out of the game. Razer reduced the score after 78 minutes to 2 - 1 as Terje Dahl easily chipped the ball past the home side's keeper after a dazzling play from the right. Grilled held the ball, with a clear 57 percent of possession.

The most dominating Grilled player was without a doubt Au-Yong Siu-Yue. Luis Alcántara on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating Razer player was without a doubt Weng Shen. Wong Chao Han was a disappointment, however. The match ends 2 - 1.
