Grilled 5 - 0 Geylang

622 spectators arrived at The Cooking Pot, where weather conditions were pretty good for football. Tsugahara Mizumaki was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Nis Dam and Jørgen Warming. Grilled had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. Lineup: Harlow - Alcántara, Bona, Falkbo - van Liere, Siu-Yue, Rottman, Kek-Tjiang, Paullin - Langeland, Martinsson.

Geylang started off with a 3-4-3 lineup. The following players had been chosen: Hoogervorst - Cassen, Ranen, Rankin - Nai-Thim, Spruijt, Garzón, Gunnarsson - Hoang-Huan, Yueh-shiou, Ser-Kiat.

Geylang were relying on their ability to counter-attack. The home side put themselves ahead 1 - 0 after 9 minutes courtesy of a breakthrough from Jan Langeland, who, unaided, came in from the right wing hooking the ball over the visitors' keeper. After 12 minutes, Jan Langeland put Grilled ahead 2 - 0 when he rose to head in a hooked ball, the result of an effort from the right side. Ola Martinsson almost managed to score another goal for Grilled, coming from the right, but his header was tipped to a corner by the visitors' keeper. Geylang mounted an inspired counterattack down the right wing after 19 minutes, but Henrik Ranen was unable to convert from short range. With 25 minutes played, Ola Martinsson could have brought this one home for Grilled as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high. Coen Cassen of Geylang received a yellow card after 27 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. 2 - 0 was the halftime score. Grilled claimed to be the more dominant force in the game, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 72 percent.

After 77 minutes, Fabian Bona put Grilled ahead 3 - 0 when he rose to head in a hooked ball, the result of an effort from the right side. After this, Grilled lowered the tempo in order to concentrate on their defensive efforts. Ola Martinsson increased Grilled's lead to 4 - 0 with a penalty spot cannonball. After 79 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by Ola Martinsson might have resulted in another goal for Grilled. However, Paul Hoogervorst made a spectacular save. After 80 minutes, Jan Langeland put Grilled ahead 5 - 0 when he rose to head in a hooked ball, the result of an effort from the right side. At that, Jan Langeland was noted down for a hat trick. Grilled held the ball, with a clear 72 percent of possession.

The most dominating Grilled player was without a doubt Au-Yong Siu-Yue. Luis Alcántara on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating Geylang player was without a doubt Luo Ser-Kiat. However, Thean Nai-Thim made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 5 - 0.
