labbityeo 1 - 5 Grilled

120 spectators arrived at labbityeo Arena, where weather conditions were pretty good for football. Jory Hilterman was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Qadim Fudayl and Ambalakoothan Upadhayaya. labbityeo had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. The following players had been chosen: Dawat - bin Che Rusli, Min, Wee Keng - Da Chee, bin Ali, Hao Soon, Ho Kum, In-Pom - Cuthbert, Chooi-Hua.

Grilled had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. The following players had been chosen: Harlow - Tuan-Mu, Bona, Pakpao - Olaru, Rottman, Han Kok, Spirig, Barbour - Martinsson, Langeland.

After 4 minutes, Grilled put themselves up by 0 - 1, as Ola Martinsson finished off a strike from the left with a real cannon placed at the far post. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, labbityeo's Tan Ho Kum got himself booked. The bicycle kick from Ng Da Chee would have been the Goal of the Year for labbityeo, had it not hit the post. After 34 minutes, Chew Hao Soon got through on the right and was very close to equalising for the home side, but didn't get the shot away. The referee showed Grilled's Jan Langeland the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Grilled's Jan Langeland received a play slashing through the home side's central defense after 35 minutes, and chipped it past the keeper to score the 0 - 2 goal. The home crowd was not pleased with that one. Jon Andrea Rottman of Grilled received a yellow card after 41 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. Grilled came close to extending their lead as Jan Langeland delivered a low effort on goal from the right after 42 minutes, but the angle was too narrow and the shot went harmlessly into the side netting. The game had been on for 43 minutes when Fabian Bona broke through on the right, upping the score for Grilled to 0 - 3, much to the home crowd's dismay. 44 minutes in, labbityeo's She In-Pom received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 3. The forty-five minutes were dominated by Grilled, with an impressive 67 percent possession of the ball.

Lan Tuan-Mu increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley shot away on a pass from the right. 0 - 4. After 49 minutes Muhamad bin Che Rusli could have reduced the lead with a blistering strike from the left wing, had it not been for an excellent block by the visitors' keeper. The away team's Ola Martinsson took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 51 minutes which increased Grilled's lead to 0 - 5. After this, Grilled lowered the tempo in order to concentrate on their defensive efforts. labbityeo's fans were urging them forward as they tried to get back into the game, and their vocal support was rewarded 71 minutes into the match as Steven Cuthbert ran onto a beautiful ball played through the visitors' defence and slotted it past the keeper to reduce the deficit. 1 - 5. After 74 minutes labbityeo's Steven Cuthbert limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue. The forty-five minutes were dominated by Grilled, with an impressive 69 percent possession of the ball.

The most dominating labbityeo player was without a doubt Ahmad Yunus bin Ali. Tan Ho Kum on the other hand, had a terrible day. Grilled's best player was Jon Andrea Rottman. Dragos Olaru on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 1 - 5.
