Anfield 1 - 1 Grilled

614 spectators had come to Anfield Reds Arena this cloudy day. Emil Nemes was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Fritz Zollinger and André Pfaffenrath. Anfield had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. The following players had been chosen: Wheatley - Tellén, Rogersson, Si-Wei - Strandhall, Ignatieva, Iriarte Calvo, Kootstra, Andersson - Yongye, Ko-yang.

Grilled had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. Lineup: Harlow - Alcántara, Bona, Dewilde - Dai-Lin, Siu-Yue, Stanton, Kek-Tjiang, Noor Yadah - Langeland, Martinsson.

The referee showed Grilled's Jan Langeland the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. 27 minutes of the match played, and a comedy of errors by the home side gave the visitors a chance at the lead, but Jan Langeland, after finding himself dashing down on goal from the left with only the keeper to beat, sliced his shot horribly wide. Anfield made a bid to take the lead as a ball coming in on the right hand side left ZhangCai Yongye completely alone with keeper Clair Harlow, who made a spectacular block. Grilled took the lead after 43 minutes with 0 - 1. Ola Martinsson placed the ball out of reach for the home side's keeper after a fine move, coming in from the left. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 1. The forty-five minutes were dominated by Anfield, with an impressive 51 percent possession of the ball.

Robert 'Planno' Strandhall pulled a real crowd pleaser as he, after 51 minutes, wove through the guests' entire central defence and put the 1 - 1 equaliser away. This was a good period for the visitors, with several opportunities to take the lead, particularly when Jan Langeland slipped through the defense on the right to come up alone against Dom Wheatley, but the home side's keeper showed his lightning reflexes. Luis Alcántara had a good try after 86 minutes, coming in on a fine move from the left, but the ball went wide. This part of the game was a standoff between the teams.

The most dominating Anfield player was without a doubt ZhangCai Yongye. However, Robert 'Planno' Strandhall made a disastrous appearance. The most dominating Grilled player was without a doubt Shen Kek-Tjiang. Luis Alcántara was a disappointment, however. The match ends 1 - 1.
