Many in the crowd felt the referee was being too lenient when he only showed ice's 丁 (Ding) 轩廷 (Xuanting) a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 34 minutes into the game. Due to a severely mistimed tackle, Ciro Penati of Grilled spent some time on the grass writhing in agony before he could get up and continue the game. With 36 minutes played, Grilled put themselves up 0 - 2 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was Subri bin Ku Zainol. After 38 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed 封 (Feng) 达荣 (Darong) to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 3. By now, Grilled were drawing the troops back in order to defend their lead. Given a free kick at a sharp angle, Grilled went for a variation that loyal fans may recognize from training. A sideways passing move moved the defence out of position and let Zoltán Árva slip through on goal. No hesitation - and it's 0 - 4, 41 minutes into the game. The visitors' Subri bin Ku Zainol took advantage of an error due to a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and central backs 42 minutes into the match. 0 - 5 for Grilled. 0 - 5 was the score after the first half. Grilled enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 89 percent of possession.

Almost all the way down to the corner flag, Grilled's 封 (Feng) 达荣 (Darong) somehow managed to get a perfect pass into the middle, impossible to miss for Subri bin Ku Zainol, who struck for 0 - 6. At that, Subri bin Ku Zainol was noted down for a hat trick. Grilled's Nawaz Talib received a play slashing through the home side's central defense after 71 minutes, and chipped it past the keeper to score the 0 - 7 goal. The home crowd was not pleased with that one. After 82 minutes ice's Mohd Hairul Nizam bin Saad limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue. The away team's Subri bin Ku Zainol took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 83 minutes which increased Grilled's lead to 0 - 8. With 85 minutes played, a phenomenal play on the left side freed Matthias Branbilla, of Grilled, to dash through and score another goal for the visitors. The score was then 0 - 9. 88 minutes into the game a free kick by Maikel Rotteveel found its way through the home side's poorly assembled defensive formation, making Grilled's lead 0 - 10. Musa bin Omar of ice was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. Some fine manoeuvring on the left led to a Grilled goal after 89 minutes, making it 0 - 11. Zoltán Árva was noted down as the scorer. ice's Nor Zeland Zakariar was shown a yellow card after 89 minutes for slicing down an opponent. The forty-five minutes were dominated by Grilled, with an impressive 91 percent possession of the ball.

Lau Li Loong performed admirably for ice. However, 夏 (Xia) 勇轩 (Yongxuan) made a disastrous appearance. Grilled's top performer was clearly Quah Han Kok. 封 (Feng) 达荣 (Darong) was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 11.
