It was an obvious ambition of Grilled to use their ability at attacking on the flanks. Using their counter-attacking abilities was the strategy of choice for akodo on this day. With 3 minutes played Ciro Penati almost put the home team one ahead on a cross coming in from the right, but the shot went just wide. Grilled took the lead after 35 minutes, as a result of Maikel Rotteveel's awkward, but ultimately successful, shot from the right. 1 - 0. A header from 秦 (Qin) 新永 (Xinyong) connected with a corner kick after 39 minutes, and the ball ended up with 邓 (Deng) 宝德 (Baode) of akodo who shot home the 1-1 goal. Grilled's Matthias Branbilla swung in a good chance from the left, but the visitors' defence were able to clear the ball. The forty-five minutes were dominated by Grilled, with an impressive 58 percent possession of the ball.

Grilled managed to extend their lead to 3 - 1 when Han Lik-Tsun cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. 秦 (Qin) 新永 (Xinyong)'s lack of experience almost gave Grilled a goal after 66 minutes, but the shot went right into the keeper's arms. Grilled put themselves up 4 - 1 when Maikel Rotteveel broke through on the right, leaving the entire defensive box behind him. At this point in the game, defending their lead became the main priority for Grilled. Matthias Branbilla of Grilled received a yellow card after 79 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour.
