Queers 0 - 10 Grilled

00 spectators had come to Queers Arena this cloudy day. Barrett Dube was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Nimet Alpagu and Erik Vinterér. A 4-4-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Queers. They fielded: Kwang Woon - Hui Puay, Tse Liang, Yao Rong, Chen Yang - Wen Chao, Tsz Kan, Sung Hyun, Kim Jin - Chung Ming, Hui Qiang.

Grilled decided to use a 4-4-2 set up. Lineup: Dias Paes - 达荣 (Darong) , Árva, Talib, 剑勇 (Jianyong) - Penati, Branbilla, Han Kok, 川城 (Chuancheng) - Rotteveel, bin Ku Zainol.

Grilled's Quah Han Kok managed to lose the defenders as he came down the right side and scored, putting the visitors ahead, 0 - 1. With 13 minutes played, Grilled put themselves up 0 - 2 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was Maikel Rotteveel. Grilled's 封 (Feng) 达荣 (Darong) was shown a yellow card after 17 minutes for slicing down an opponent. The game had been on for 18 minutes when Maikel Rotteveel broke through on the right, upping the score for Grilled to 0 - 3, much to the home crowd's dismay. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, Grilled's Subri bin Ku Zainol got himself booked. After 33 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed Quah Han Kok to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 4. Confident in their lead, Grilled decided to play a more defensive game at this point. Yeoh Kwang Woon kept the home side in the game with a magnificent save when Maikel Rotteveel delivered an almost perfect free kick to the far post. Halftime score was 0 - 4. The forty-five minutes were dominated by Grilled, with an impressive 73 percent possession of the ball.

Grilled's 范 (Fan) 川城 (Chuancheng) was dominating his wing and kept sending fine balls into the opposition's box - Maikel Rotteveel managed to volley one of them into the net to make it 0 - 5 after 53 minutes. That was his third goal of the match - a hat trick for Maikel Rotteveel. Subri bin Ku Zainol was in the clear after breaking the offside trap following a Grilled counterattack from the left after 70 minutes. His neat finish made the score 0 - 6. The away team's Zoltán Árva took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 77 minutes which increased Grilled's lead to 0 - 7. Grilled's Subri bin Ku Zainol received a play slashing through the home side's central defense after 85 minutes, and chipped it past the keeper to score the 0 - 8 goal. The home crowd was not pleased with that one. After 86 minutes, Grilled's Maikel Rotteveel burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 9. A thrilling play through the middle 89 minutes into the match gave Grilled's 封 (Feng) 达荣 (Darong) a chance to increase the lead, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 10. The referee showed Grilled's 胡 (Hu) 剑勇 (Jianyong) the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Mai Chung Ming's knee will be throbbing for days, but thankfully for Queers, he bravely continued in the match. Grilled claimed to be the more dominant force in the game, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 74 percent.

Most important Queers player was Yong Wen Chao. On the other hand, Pek Hui Puay's play was disheartening. Valdir Dias Paes performed admirably for Grilled. 胡 (Hu) 剑勇 (Jianyong) turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 0 - 10.
