Grilled 5 - 5 Rapalites

000 spectators arrived at The Cooking Pot, where weather conditions were pretty good for football. János Lovász was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Ivan Vonken and Anders Hallgren. A 4-5-1 alignment was the formation of choice for Grilled. Lineup: Beckman - Zywczyn, Lik-Tsun, Spirig, Bona - van Liere, Jie Siong, MacKinnon, Paullin, Han Kok - Rotteveel.

Rapalites tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. The following players had been chosen: bin Jaafar - Wei Quo, bin Ali, Del Chicca - bin Mohd Idrus, bin Sarman, bin Salleh, Symoen, bin Taufek - bin Salim, Oseguera.

Rapalites took a creative approach on the field. The visiting Rubén Oseguera was booed thoroughly by the home crowd 6 minutes into the game, after he broke through the middle and scored, resulting in the visitors taking the lead. 0 - 1 was the score. Yusman bin Salim increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley shot away on a pass from the right. 0 - 2. Grilled's Han Lik-Tsun got the home crowd going when he finished off a left wing charge, reducing the away team's lead to 1 - 2. 42 minutes into the match, Mohd Amran bin Taufek came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide. A foul 45 minutes into the game resulted in a free kick for Grilled. Sylweriusz Zywczyn took advantage as he curled the equalising goal into the top corner, just out of the reach of the keeper. 2 - 2. 2 - 2 was the score after the first half. This half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 57 percent of the time.

After the game, the most discussed event will probably be the penalty given after 59 minutes that gave the visitors the 2 - 3 lead. Despite the controversy, Rubén Oseguera struck home the penalty, as cool as anything. Grilled's Sylweriusz Zywczyn got himself booked for a foul. The home crowd was not impressed when Rubén Oseguera came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 77 minutes. Rapalites were now up 2 - 4. At that, Rubén Oseguera was noted down for a hat trick. At 83 minutes into the game, Grilled's Maikel Rotteveel deftly knocked the ball home after an impressive run down the left, reducing the visitors' lead to 3 - 4. After 85 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed Mohd Amran bin Taufek to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 3 - 5. In a rapid move 85 minutes into the match, Quah Han Kok of Grilled lost his man, passed the ball to the unmarked Maikel Rotteveel who easily hit it home for the 4-5 goal. Maikel Rotteveel pulled a real crowd pleaser as he, after 86 minutes, wove through the guests' entire central defence and put the 5 - 5 equaliser away. At that, Maikel Rotteveel was noted down for a hat trick. Grilled claimed to be the more dominant force in the game, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 57 percent.

Grilled's top performer was clearly Han Lik-Tsun. Dani Spirig was a disappointment, however. The most dominating Rapalites player was without a doubt Yusman bin Salim. However, Roziman bin Ali made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 5 - 5.
