Tomoto 0 - 9 Grilled

000 fans braved the pouring rain at Tomoto fruit Arena. Sven-Michael Berdych was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Charly Cros and Patrik Nyér. Tomoto had chosen a strategic 3-4-3 formation. Lineup: Yi-Heng - Vasiljevs, Tshisevhe, Damti - Crãciun, Gill, Wan-Fang, Sterchi - Popa, Boixaderas, VÄ—laitis.

Grilled tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. Lineup: Abed-Sulaiman - Zywczyn, Talib, Bona - Han Kok, Paullin, Kek-Tjiang, Spirig, Jie Siong - Simon, van Liere.

It was obvious that Tomoto were using their pressing skill as their primary tactic. Always a threat, Quah Han Kok tore past his marker and placed the ball right at the feet of the waiting Hidde van Liere who should have easily scored for Grilled, but the ball went wide. Grilled took the lead 26 minutes into the game, scoring the 0 - 1 goal after some elegant plays down the middle. Hidde van Liere was the scorer. Tomoto's ability to press their opponents all over the field paid off frequently. Dimitri Simon increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley shot away on a pass from the right. 0 - 2. When Mjayelwa Tshisevhe left the game because of a back injury after 36 minutes, Tomoto had to continue a man short due to there being no more available substitutions. Some fine manoeuvring on the left led to a Grilled goal after 38 minutes, making it 0 - 3. Dimitri Simon was noted down as the scorer. The game had been on for 40 minutes when Fabian Bona broke through on the right, upping the score for Grilled to 0 - 4, much to the home crowd's dismay. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 4. Grilled held the ball, with a clear 78 percent of possession.

57 minutes into the game a free kick by Sylweriusz Zywczyn found its way through the home side's poorly assembled defensive formation, making Grilled's lead 0 - 5. Confident in their lead, Grilled decided to play a more defensive game at this point. 70 minutes in, Tomoto's Assi Damti received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Grilled had to make a substitution after 84 minutes. Ahmed Abed-Sulaiman limped off the field and was replaced by Hang Bao-Tam. The Grilled captaincy was handed to Shen Kek-Tjiang. The game had been on for 86 minutes when Fabian Bona broke through on the right, upping the score for Grilled to 0 - 6, much to the home crowd's dismay. Grilled's Lee Jie Siong left the field after 87 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was Allan Ødegaard. After 88 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed Dani Spirig to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 7. Tomoto had no more available substitutions when Song Wan-Fang had to leave the game after 90 minutes because of a pulled tendon, leaving the team a man short. With 90 minutes played, Grilled put themselves up 0 - 8 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was Allan Ødegaard. The visitors' Dimitri Simon took advantage of an error due to a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and central backs 90 minutes into the match. 0 - 9 for Grilled. That made three goals for Dimitri Simon and he was marked down for the hat trick. This half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 90 percent of the time.

Most important Tomoto player was Aleksejs Vasiljevs. However, Richi Sterchi made a disastrous appearance. Most important Grilled player was Shen Kek-Tjiang. Allan Ødegaard on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 0 - 9.
