Khosrov Called
International head coach
Didi Reidenbach did not mull over the club's failure in their promotion qualifier for long, as he unveiled former Armenian youth international
Khosrov Danelyan, from Belgian V.104 repeat champions BxL1986 for S$7 million. The 28 year-old had stints in France, Poland, Spain, Italy (twice) and Peru before that, earning league titles with both BxL1986 and French club FcVaulx69120.
There would also be a cap with the national U-20 side against Estonia in a friendly, but that would be quite forgettable according to Danelyan, as they lost 0-8 despite him being one of their better performers.
He prefers to look forward anyway, as he revealed via video-link, and picked the Number 13 jersey having last worn the six with BxL1986. "I always make my own luck."
As for Reidenbach, the head coach all but confirmed rumours that he would be parting ways with International, after thirteen years as head coach, and eight as a player before that. "It's been some journey, and even if it's not been as successful as I would have liked, I guess it still counts as going out on a high. Stay tuned for more updates!"
