The production lines have found demand again this weekend, as four academy graduates signed their first professional contracts. Farmer Bunnies' 18 year-old defender Dre Peng - twice voted as having the coolest name in the Rabbits - went to Brunei III.10 frontrunners turbo brunei, in what was regarded as an excellent move for his career. Their Swiss boss Dominik Kast has been known for his commitment to youth development, which has recently seen Hj Kamis bin Hj Shazwan and Naeem Hatam become regulars in the Brunei and Iraq national U-20 teams respectively.
As for Grilled International, former Finnish Mestaruussarja champions Beaming Balls came in for a double swoop, taking midfielder Addie bin Hj Kamarul Nizam and centreback Fung Woon Chee from the Busy Bees. While the Balls are currently rebuilding in Division Four, it was still a much more glamorous destination than either had expected. "I mean, I was willing to tough it out in Africa or somewhere."
