A lottery find for Sentosa-based Purmei Inc. who had him on their books for all of three days before passing him on to German club Dike Coyotes for some S$470000, Herman Sasaki was that rare self-taught treasure who wowed scouts despite never undergoing any formal training.

His inexperience came to a head with the Coyotes however, but if they were unwilling to do the polishing, the Bunnies certainly were. A modest offer was enough to bring the former International Community School student back to local shores, where he will enjoy the close attention of the Bunnies' coaching staff.
