Victorious At Vilaseca
Blissenbach Whetted
Real Vilaseca had the lion's share of possession but were inferior in other departments as Grilled Birds cruised to a 1-3 away win. Vilaseca started strongly under the stormclouds, as Australian boy Cailean Boyton surprised Alcántara with a linear approach to soccer. Alcántara was trapped behind Boyton's body, but Boyton couldn't shoot straight. Blissenbach could, however, when his turn came in the tenth minute. Fwu-Ching botched a clearance, and Tim was on hand to punish him. bin Ismail of Real Vilaseca let fly a real stinger, but Bao-Tam couldn't be bothered as he saw that the ball was going wide of the mark. It came closer than he probably anticipated with a late curve, though, but Bao-Tam was let off as it was too little too late.
Ma Dai-Lin had a busy time getting into Ohlflod and Jullá's way, and play was stuck in midfield for ages to come. Grilled were distinctly insecure with just a slender goal lead under their belt.
Real Vilaseca's other striker Liu Yu-Xing also tried his luck from distance soon after the teams began the second half, and this time the well-taken shot required Dewilde to deflect for a corner. Skilled winger Wang Chi-Phong then shook Åhsten off and dummied Alcántara to even it out. That set Bakunin screaming, until Chiew-Yen placated him with a piece of sharpshooting past Mattias Lagermar for 2-1 in the 67th minute. Åhsten chipped in with his share when he beat Chi-Phong at speed to feed Stern with an excellent pass. Stern lost it, but it proved to be a blessing in disguise as Chiew-Yen blindsided the entire Real Vilaseca defence to seal the win with a first-time effort.
