Huang "Superstar" Shen-Min
All-around nice guy
Huang Shen-Min will be off to the Netherlands. Shen-Min, who was touted as a dandy backup winger for Grilled Birds when he came onto the scene last week, did not fit into coach Bakunin's training plans. More a winger than a midfielder, Huang was grabbed by Sammy's Superstars of Holland's Division Five, along with Italian Bruno Vizziello and Portuguese Domingos Tavaresm from their respective clubs.
Huang was relieved not to be the only new player or young winger at his new team. "Already have picked up a bit of several foreign languages," the bubbly Huang noted, already sporting his yellow No. 6 jersey. He playfully hummed S.H.E's latest hit, Superstar, elicting not a few groans from old squadmates listening in to the telephone interview. Other interested parties included one-time S-League team FC Tenochtitlán and Division Three Joker 9 of Singapore and bollpojkarna of Sweden, though Division Five Milan 1899 of Italy and Division Four FC Disni of Estonia came closer to signing Huang.
